Soli-Soli Festival

Cebu has all the reasons to celebrate because of its historical and cultural heritages. These celebrations are presented through dancing and mardi grass. Mostly are celebrated for the commemoration of the important events in the past while others are ways of thanksgiving for the blessings received.

There are dime a dozen festivals celebrated throughout Cebu Province and each has its distinctiveness. But mostly, the observances of these festivities are in cognizance of the town’s fiesta as the highlight of the town’s major celebrations.




Rosquillos Festival

Cebu is considered an island of festivals. Almost every town of the province has their own festival in answered to the call of Gov. Gwen Garcia about One Town, One Product wherein every town should have at least one celebration that is unique from the others.

Liloan repeatedly amazed the crowds with their extravagant parade of rosquillos in their very own “Rosquillos Festival”. It is celebrated every 29th and 30th days of May, in cognizance of its patron saint, San Fernando Rey.




Haladaya Festival

Haladaya Festival is one of the highly praised festivals in the Cebu Province for its colorful costumes, unique interpretative dance steps and its historical significance concerning the town’s glorious past.

The Municipality of Daanbantayan hosts yearly fiesta celebration every 30th day of August in honor of the town’s patron saint, St. Rose of Lima. The highlight of the celebration is the extravagant Haladaya Festival.
